Another event Little Man and Bug participated in at the youth rodeo was Barrel Racing. Now Little Man is an old hand at this! He’s been competing for the last two years up at Dunseith at the awesome Borderline Barrel Racing Series and has truly enjoyed himself!
But this was his first time competing on his own rodeo horse, the Amazing Critter! And all three of them did great and had a fantastic time!

Working slowly on another art work. Just a hint of color in this one. LOVE the tuck and hold. You can feel the power, see the power. Lovely animal! As of now, it has no title. But it will come to me.

Yesterday, when I got home from helping some friends and touring the flooded areas to see the awful damage first hand (You really have no idea until you physically see it first hand!) I came home to a lovely gift from God. Snoopy finally had her baby. He’s beautiful. LONG LONG legs. Keep in mind, this little guy is not out of my stallion Whistler, but rather out of a bucking stallion owned by a great friend who cared for my mare when I did not have room for her. He’s a big powerful roan stallion and I adore him. And…me being me…I like my horses a little on the rough side. And so does my son. Hopefully, if things all pan out, this will be Little Man’s rope horse. The only thing I would change is that it would be a filly rather than a stud colt, as I would have LOVED to have crossed it to my stallion Whistler.
But I’m happy with this little guy. He should roan out nicely and have a great friendly willing mind and very athletic body.
So welcome! Buckshot…or whatever we settle on your name to be!

Own Son Of Coosa. 2002 Model Breeding Stock Paint Black Stallion.Well formed, gentle, and not currently being used to his full capability. Sweet tempered. Used some on cattle. Willing to work, willing to learn. Spent the last 4 years as a breeding stallion. I would not sell him, but due to a move am choosing to downsize. This animal has amazing potential. Foals are smart and good looking, and never a breeding stock paint from him so far. Colors range from subdued black and white paints to brazen white and bays. Willing to learn, and good on cattle. HYPP N/N Serious inquires only. $2000 solid. Worth much more, but I’d rather he went to a good home where he will be treasured and utilized to his full capabilities.
